Who wants to think of food recalls? Chefs, caterers, food service professionals sure, but I don't think most consumers think of it all that often till it hits the news. As I checked into the FDA's website again today it struck me how very many foods are recalled monthly and that a substantial portion of them are pet foods.
I check this site weekly so that I can keep my clients from harm but it wouldn't hurt for you to check it out from time to time. Unfortunately there is always something added to the list and I am always surprised by what.
