Oh the humanity. Maybe this is a bit melodramatic, after all poor customer service is par for the course these days, and this experience isn't quite on par with the Hindenburg, but I am darn near exploding myself.
Had my first personal experience with Bloomingdale's' Bridal Registry in the last 2 weeks and I have to say to one and all, take a full pass. From the moment I went on to the site in my first 2 attempts at sending a bridal gift, then a conversation with someone at the 800 number to actually place the order and now the subsequent 2 follow up phone calls to register shock over the condition of the order I can only guess that any of the "Marts", K- or Wall, could offer similar service.
So if you want your bride to be to receive your gift unwrapped, without a gift card but with a bill go to Bloomingdale's. If you are thinking of registering for your big day stay away. I guess that leaves us with Neiman Marcus......
